– B.A. in Social Studies from Southeastern Louisiana University
Tell us about your family:
– I have been married to Sherrye Ricks Spikes for 39 years and we have two children who both graduated from Parkview. Our oldest, Patrick Spikes graduated in 2003 and our daughter, Kaitlynn Spikes graduated in 2013. Patrick taught and coached at PBS for 6 years. He and his wife have three children, one who is also a Parkview Eagle! Kaitlynn works at Community Coffee.

Sherrye and I have wonderful memories of Parkview. We both prayed about a possible teaching position here.

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I am a Vietnam Veteran.
– My hidden talent is cooking.
– I love working with young people.
– My birthday is Christmas day!
Why is Christian education important?
– During this day and time with all the outside peer pressures that our young people encounter on a daily basis it’s so important to be grounded in your faith in God.
