Pedigo Leads PBS Track Team at State Indoor Meet

BATON ROUGE – Junior Ariel Pedigo was one of three of Parkview Baptist track and field team members that competed at the LHSAA Division II Indoor State Track Meet last month at the Carl Maddox Field House on the campus of LSU.

Pedigo picked up 15 points to lead the team by making the podium in two events. The junior finished as the state runner-up in the high jump with a jump of 5-1 and placed third in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.84. Ariel also competed in the shot put (33-3) and the long jump (15-5 ½), placing sixth and eighth respectively. 

Trey Boucher and Landace Abshire also competed for Parkview in the boys’ and girls’ pole vault. Trey placed fourth in the boys’ competition with a jump of 14-11, while Landace placed sixth in the girls’ competition with a jump of 10-2.
