Cross Country Team Making Great Strides This Season

The Parkview Baptist Cross Country Teams put out another strong performance this past weekend at the Catholic High School Invitational. A total of eighteen middle school and varsity team members turned in career personal bests at the race at Highland Park.

The middle school girls team placed 11th out of 24 teams and were led by Madison, who placed 12th overall.
The middle school boys team placed 5th out of 30 teams and were led by Konner, who placed 11th overall.

On the boys varsity team, Wyatt turned in the second-fastest three-mile time in school history by running 16:09.72 and placing 21st overall. The highlight of the day came in the girls varsity race where Josie broke the Parkview Baptist girls varsity school record by finishing 11th overall with a time of 18:44.69. The school record was previously held by Morgan Schuetz which was set back in 2011. The teams will be back in action this Saturday at the SNL Invitational at Acadiana Park in Lafayette.
