Danny and The Shacks – 4th Grade Musical

This week, our PBS 4th grade students performed the musical “Danny & the Shacks.” Under the direction of Mrs. Angela Orr, this musical retold the story of Daniel in the lion’s den and the three young Hebrew men named Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Daniel, (“Danny”) and his bandmates The Shacks (better known to you Bible scholars out there as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego!) embark on a roller-coaster-thrill-ride of experiences as they encounter King Neb, his golden statue, some crazy Babylonians, the fiery furnace, and the infamous lions den. Throughout it all, the powerful truth of God’s Word and the importance of being obedient and faithful to His teaching comes through loud and clear in the scenes and songs.

We are so proud of our students for their hard work and an outstanding performance two days in a row. At Parkview, we love opportunities where we can expose our students to the Arts and share fantastic faith affirming truths that only come from God’s Word.
