Parkview Baptist Names New Head Football Coach
Stefan LeFors Named Parkview Baptist Head Football Coach
Parkview Baptist School is pleased to announce Stefan LeFors has been named Head Football Coach. LeFors, a Baton Rouge native, comes to PBS with vast experience as a coach and a former player. Most recently, LeFors served as Head Football Coach at Christian Academy of Louisville where he compiled an 86-20 career record with seven district championships. In 2016 and 2018, LeFors led his team to State Championship titles. He was named 5-time District Coach of the Year and the 2016 AP State Coach of the Year.
Prior to Christian Academy, LeFors served as the Academic Specialist for the University of Louisville Football program.
A 2000 graduate of Christian Life, LeFors played quarterback for the Crusaders. After high school, LeFors took the field for the University of Louisville where he was named First Team All-Conference USA Quarterback, Conference USA Football Player of the Year, Liberty Bowl MVP, and East West Shrine All Star Football Player of the Game.
In 2005, LeFors was selected in the fourth round of the draft by the Carolina Panthers. Shortly after, LeFors began to play for the Edmonton Eskimos in the Canadian Football League and finished his career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
LeFors has been married to his wife Joy, a 1998 Christian Life graduate, for 15 years. Together they have two children Luke (12) and Ella (10).
