Jay Mayet Announces Resignation

PBS Families,

On Tuesday, Coach Mayet announced his resignation from Parkview to his coaches and players. Coach Mayet has been an incredible part of our program for over 20 years and it is highly unusual to have a staff such as Coach Kenny Guillot, Coach Jay Mayet, and Coach Scott Dieterich, who have been together for so long.  In our Parkview circle, we can take for granted the success of our football program and overlook the amount of work and sacrifice that level of success demands.  There is no doubt our campus has benefited from the success of our athletic programs and our dedicated coaches.

It is difficult to say goodbye to a place where you have served so long, but sometimes you have to take a courageous step like this to see what else God has in store for you. With the foundation Coach Mayet has laid, our program will remain strong through this time of transition.  This gives us valuable time to consider what God has in store for us. Please take time to appreciate Coach Mayet for his service at Parkview and his investment in growing our students into strong men.
