IMPORTANT DATES FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD

Open House for All Early Childhood Parents (Parents Only Please)
Friday, August 10 – Sanctuary 6:00 p.m.

  • Parents will begin in the Sanctuary with a short program from Mrs. Cathy and administrators.
  • Parents will then head to their child’s classroom for a presentation by the teacher regarding rules, curriculum and classroom routine.
  • Chapel Shirt and Spirit Shirts (if pre-ordered) will be available for pick up in your child’s classroom.

Early Childhood Meet the Teacher (For Students)
Tuesday, August 14 – 9:00-12:00 (Drop in any time during this time)

  • Bring your child any time between 9:00 and 12:00 to meet their teacher and get a classroom preview.
  • Supplies are included in One Check Fee and will be ready for your student.
  • Please do not arrive after 12:00 as our teachers will be back in in-service meetings at that time.

First Day of School for Early Childhood
Staggered Start Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday August 15, 16, 17 (Day TBA)

  • We split up our Early Childhood classes so the children and teacher can get acclimated to a new school year in smaller groups.
  • You will receive your child’s staggered start day with your child’s class placement soon.

Elementary NEW STUDENT AND NEW PARENT ORIENTATION
Tuesday, August 7 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Middle School/High School Library
*This is a location change from the originally published calendar.

  • Parents will have the opportunity to hear from Elementary Administration while your child goes on a scavenger hunt across campus.

Tuesday, August 14 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Drop in any time during this time)

  • Bring your child any time between 9:00 and 12:00 to meet their teacher and get a classroom preview.

  • Carpool begins at 7:30 a.m.

  • Parents will begin in the Sanctuary with a short program from Mr. McCulloch.
  • Parents will then head to their child’s classroom in the Elementary building for a presentation by the teacher regarding rules, curriculum and classroom routine.
  • Parents will be able to meet and visit with their auxiliary teachers in the Elementary lobby.
  • Parents will have the opportunity to purchase Parent Athletic passes and Football reserved seating.
  • Chapel Shirt and Spirit Shirts (if ordered) will be available for pick up outside the elementary building.

Middle School NEW STUDENT AND NEW PARENT ORIENTATION
Tuesday, August 7 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Middle School/High School Library.

Prep Days (High School Gym)

5th Graders – Monday, August 13 anytime between 4:00-5:30 p.m.

  • Students should wear their WHITE uniform top (any bottoms) for the ID and Yearbook Picture.
  • Students will pick up their schedule when they come in the high school gym, then proceed to the following stations:
    • Fill out medication form if needed.
    • Pickup (if pre-ordered) Spirit Shirt; order Spirit Shirt if not.
    • Register for Eagle Academy (if needed and not done online).
    • Register for Fine Arts Academy (music lessons) if needed.
    • Parents can purchase Parent Athletic Passes and Reserved Football seating.
    • Drop off supplies in homeroom (if desired and you did not order the supply pack).
    • Eagle’s Nest will be open until 8:00 p.m. on this night.

6th Graders – Monday, August 13 anytime between 5:30-6:30 p.m.

  • Students should wear their WHITE uniform top (any bottoms) for the ID and Yearbook Picture.

  • 6th Grade will meet in the High School Gym
  • 5th Grade will meet in the Sanctuary

      • All 11th Graders: 2 hand sanitizer pumps, one 12-pack wooden pencils (pre-sharpened).
      • All 12th Graders:
        • Girls: 2 boxes of Kleenex, one 12-pack wooden pencils (pre-sharpened).
        • Boys: 2 rolls of paper towel, one 12-pack wooden pencils (pre-sharpened).
    • Station #2: Hair/Uniform Check.

    • Station #4 (for new 10th -12th graders): Vehicle Registration.

  • Parents can pick up a copy of their child’s schedule, then proceed to the Building.
  • Parents will have the opportunity to walk their child’s schedule and meet their respective teachers.
  • Parents will have the opportunity to purchase Parent Athletic passes and Football reserved seating.
