Turnitin For The Win

Every week our High School students use the program Turnitin to submit papers to their English teachers. Their teachers are able to receive the students work, grade it and return it to the students all online. Turnitin is a great tool for teachers to grade and provide detailed feed back for each student, giving them the help and direction that they need. Turnitin is widely known for its ability to catch plagiarism.  This online program scans the students work and compares it to information found online, and paper’s written by current or previous students.

Funds raised at last year’s gala made the purchase of  this program possible for our High School students. Student Body President, Taylor Kelley, says, “The Turnitin portal is really easy to use and our teachers are able to grade or comment on our papers and get them back to us quickly.”
