Duke TIP State and Grand Winners Announced

Congratulations to our students who recently participated in the Duke TIP ACT program and received State and Grand Recognition.  Duke TIP’s 7th Grade Talent Search identifies students across the United States who have scored at or above the 95th percentile on a grade-level standardized test. As part of the program, these academically talented students take above-level college-entrance exams to learn more about their abilities.

Our State Recognition Winners included Lauren Chumbley, Brooklyn Pearson, Anna Claire Shannon, Julia Strain and Adele Talbot.

Huge Congratulations to GRAND recognition Duke TIP winner Lauren Chumbley who, in 7th grade, made a 31 (with a perfect score of 36 in Reading) on the ACT…the same test that our juniors and seniors take to get in to college!
