A Musical Celebration

Today, Parkview Baptist School celebrated the talents of two of our very own, Haigan Hancock and Kwon Choi. Both seniors have received music scholarships to their respective colleges and will be continuing their expertise at the collegiate level.

Haigan Hancock will be attending Mississippi College to pursue a Bachelor of Music Degree with a study of Worship Leadership.  He auditioned in March for the chairman of the music department and the board of music professors at MC.  He was accepted into the school of music and has received a music scholarship.

Kwon Choi will be attending Louisiana State University to pursue a Bachelors of Music Education degree and a Bachelors of Music Performance degree.  He auditioned earlier this year for the trumpet professor and other school of music personnel.  He was accepted into the school of music and has received a music scholarship.

Both Haigan and Kwon have brought much joy to the campus of Parkview Baptist School. Not only by their musical instruments, but also their outgoing personalities and compassionate hearts. We wish them the best of luck as their embark on their next journey.
