Middle School Students compete in Math-Off!

Friday Mrs. McGuire’s class was challenged by Mr. Walker’s math class to a math off. Representatives from each class went head to head to see who could correctly solve the multi-step algebraic equations with rational numbers the quickest. Students waiting were encouraged to work along with the competitors to earn candy. Our students are competitive to the core and excitement built as one by one students meet their opponent. The race went down to the last problem where Mrs. McGuire’s class edged out Mr. Walker’s class 11-9.
