Welcome, Mrs. Raley!
Welcome to our new School Counselor, Tiffany Raley!
Tiffany is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor. She has her B.A. in Bible and Theology from Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham and graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in December with a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Tiffany and her husband Josh (a pastor at Community Bible Church in Baton Rouge) have a 2 year old (Hadley) and a 10 month old (Sutton). Tiffany completed her counseling internship in our PBS High School.
What made you want to come to Parkview? I had the opportunity to serve here as a counselor intern and fell in love with the community, the students, and the specific challenges that this student body faces.
If you could only take three things to a desert island, what would you take? Flashlight, canned food, and a picture of my loved ones
Do you have any hidden talents? Writing without looking – excellent talent for a counselor!
Why is it important for children to receive a Christian education? Christian education is of utmost importance as it impacts not only our intelligence, but our morals, values, beliefs, character, and actions. Our education informs our decisions and our very personality. Therefore, it is a great tragedy to not have our education informed by our Creator and His word.
Favorite Verse? Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brothers, whatever is pure, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
We are so grateful to Mrs. Angel Barnes who faithfully served as our School Counselor for almost 8 years. Mrs. Barnes has moved on to a position of Academic Counselor at LSU.
