Indoor Track and Field State Results
In the recent LHSAA State Indoor Track and Field Meet held at LSU’s Carl Maddox Fieldhouse, our Eagle track teams performed very well. In fact, the boys team had their best performance ever. Four athletes claimed second place and got to stand on the podium and receive their medals. In the girls pole vault, senior Kameron broke her own school record twice by vaulting 11’1”. Senior Taylor threw the shot 34’2” to claim second place while junior Tzuriel was also runner-up in the shot put with his personal best of 52’2”. Freshman Kai was second in the 60m hurdles with an outstanding time of 8.56.
As a team, the boys placed 6th out of 34 schools with 24 points and the girls scored 19.75 points to finish 9th out of 33 schools.
