8th Grade Programming and Animation
Mrs. Liner’s Programming and Animation class is learning about stop-motion animation this week. Using something as simple as Legos©, a stop-motion is a movie made from a series of individual pictures, and when viewed rapidly, one after the other, our eyes are made to believe that the objects in the pictures are moving. Creating these short movies is not just promoting technology skills, but encouraging students to be creative, use problem-solving skills and cooperate with a partner in this project-based learning environment. Included is a project from two of our eighth grade students. Great job, boys!
Applications for the 2026–2027 school year are filling quickly! One class is already full, and availability is becoming limited across several grade levels. Apply today to reserve your student’s place at Parkview Baptist School.
