Rachel Loupe, Middle School Art

Mrs. Loupe, a PBS Alum, comes to us with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from LSU. She and her husband, Tyler (pictured left) got married in March of this year.

Let’s get to know Mrs. Loupe a little better!

What made you want to come to Parkview? Parkview is my high school alma mater and I have fond memories of the friendships I made with fellow classmates and teachers alike.

If you could only take three things to a desert island, what would you take? Sunscreen The Count of Monte Cristo and my husband!

Tell us something super awesome about Mrs. Loupe. My husband and I met in Parkview’s band program, where we both played the trumpet. I am a twin and my major in college was ceramics. I have my own wheel and kiln and I love to make functional artwork!

Why is Christian Education important to you?  I believe a Christian education is important because it gives young adults a foundation by which to live their lives. After graduating from high school, the college world and the world after college can be very intimidating and confusing for a young adult. Having had the Christian foundation supplied by PBS, I was able to make it though some difficult times in my life. Because of this, I feel it is important to teach God’s Holy Word and Unending Love to young adults.
