First Grade Bootcamp With Mrs. Wilson

Who: All PBS students entering First Grade
When: (only allowing six students per session)
Session 1: July 25-28 9:00-11:00
Session 2: August 1-4 9:00-11:00
Where: Elementary Hall Room 107
How Much? $200.00 (8 hours of small-group instruction)
What is it? First Grade bootcamp will be small group sessions to help prepare the students for the transition into first grade at PBS. She will be covering the following skills:
- Introduce students to the structure of a first grade schedule and first grade assessments
- Review Kindergarten phonics and phonemic awareness skills with center-based instruction
- Review Kindergarten sight words
- Practice comprehension questions similar to First Grade weekly assessments
- Participate in reading groups with small group instruction
