National Merit Finalist, John Costanza

John CostanzaParkview Baptist School is proud to announce that senior John Costanza is a finalist in the 61st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. John now has an opportunity to continue in the competition for one of 7,400 National Merit Scholarships that will be awarded beginning in April of this year.  The mission of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, established in 1955, is to recognize academically talented students and to conduct the annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

John is the son of Johnny and Kim Costanza of Prairieville. John is a member of the Senior Beta Club and Drum Major for our High School Band. He is an AP Honors Scholar and was the recipient of the 2015 Ryan Scott Menier Christian Character Award. He was chosen to represent Parkview at the 75th Annual Louisiana Boys’ State, and has participated in Jump Rope and Varsity Swim throughout his high school career.
