Heart-N-Soul Summer Jump Rope Journeys

This summer was very busy for the members of the Heart-n-Soul Jump Rope team.  In June, eight members of the team participated in the World Jump Rope Pan-American Jump Rope Championship and Camp in Orlando, Florida.  Over  400 jumpers participated.  Jacob Breaux, Tori Lambert and Kaylee Couvillion were selected to be part of the camp staff.

In the age division championship, Heart-n-Soul was awarded twelve 1^st places, five 2^nd places, four 3^rd places and two 4^th places.  In the Grand Championship, Heart-n-Soul had one 1^st place, four 2^nd places and one 3^rd place.  Cooper Dupuy participated in his first “big” championship and placed 4^th in Single Rope Speed 1×30/Novice 10-under and 2^nd in Male Single Rope Freestyle/Novice 10-under.  We are very proud of him and the rest of the team.  For all of the results, please click here.

In July, Kaylee Couvillion and Jacob Breaux traveled to Paris, France for the 2015 World Jump  Rope Championship.  Over 800 jumpers from around the world, attended this championship.  Kaylee Couvillion was part of the World Championship staff and participated as a jumper.  In the Age Division Championship, Kaylee placed 1^st in Single Rope Freestyle.  Jacob was able to participate in the Grand Championship and placed 2^nd in the Double Dutch Triad (Double Dutch with 3 jumpers and 2 turners).
