Middle School Act of Kindness Day
A few weeks go, Dr. Mayes spoke in Middle School Chapel about serving others and doing simple things to show kindness. Out of that challenge to put his message into action, the 7th and 8th grade girls’ Bible classes developed an “Act of Kindness Day” for Middle School teachers.
This morning, every teacher in the Middle School was greeted with a special snack, beverage, and encouraging card from a giving student. The look on their face was priceless as they received this random “Act of Kindness.”
As our students pave the way, we encourage others to follow in their footsteps. “Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” – Princess Diana
