Acting For Adoption
Parkview Baptist School is an extremely special place to be, and if you have ever had a chance to walk the Middle School hallways you may have seen a glimpse of the White’s leading the way. Jonathan and Paige White are a vital dynamic duo to our Parkview family. Both of them mentoring relationships with the Lord and teaching life lessons through Bible class, chapel, and acting. Day in and day out this couple works to make an impact on our students lives, but they are also working to change the life of another.
“When Paige and I first married, 10 years ago, we had no idea how blessed we would be in the process of building our family. What started as two, soon became three as God gave us Judah, our son, in 2006. In 2009, we became 4 when Eden, our daughter, was born. Our hearts have been connected, and nothing can separate that.
This past year, God placed a desire in our hearts to add to our family through the process of international adoption. We felt God confirm that we should pursue adopting a girl under the age of 3 from China. I believe this has always been God’s intention with our family to connect us with a third child through this beautiful picture of what He has done for us. Ephesians 1:5 says, “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.” Just as God adopted us into His family, we too desire to adopt into ours. “
As a fundraiser for the adoption process, the White’s will be hosting an “Actin’ Up Theatre Arts Camp” next Saturday, February 7. Registration forms and all information can be found by clicking the link below.
