PBS Senior Beta Club School of Distinction Honor
The PBS Senior Beta Club was recently recognized with a “School of Distinction” honor. The “School of Distinction” status is awarded to clubs that have increased in membership at least 10% from the previous year. We are happy to say the PBS Senior Beta club has actually increased by 107%!
Students who are invited to be members of Senior Beta must maintain at least a 3.5 GPA and have 20 hours of community service each year (in addition to the PBS graduation hours).
This year, Parkview Baptist is sending 46 students to represent the PBS Senior Beta Club at the Louisiana State Beta Convention on January 15 and 16 at the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA. They will be competing in 31 different events but the journey does not stop then. The PBS Senior Beta Club will hold several different fundraising events including the one going on now.
Beta Club is collecting travel-size toiletries through January 9 for the Ronald McDonald House. As you travel throughout the holidays, please keep this in mind. The toiletries can be placed in the red boxes located in front of the offices. Thank you for your support!
