Students working in the visual arts have the opportunity to take art classes all four years of high school. We offer Art I, Art II, Art III-AP and Art IV-AP. They are able to experience a variety of materials and techniques through these different levels. Each level will display their work in various art shows throughout the school year. The AP level classes submit portfolios to try to earn college credit.
Students also have the opportunity to become members of the National Art Honor Society. We commonly refer to it as Art Club. Members are given opportunities to serve our school and community through different art activities. Facepainting for different events is one of our main activities. Students who enjoy art class or who don’t have the opportunity to be in class, but are interested in art are eligible for the club.
We are still accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year.
