Our “old school” football program no longer has “old school” lockers thanks to the hard work of several supporters. PBS parent, Brad Joffrion, helped design the concept. Head Coach Jay Mayet, PBS Alum Eric Callendar and Brad Joffrion precut all of the wood. With those men in place, the additional help of PBS Alums Patrick Spikes and Kim Reid, and a few key parents helped make the installation possible. The before and after photos showcase the undertaking of this project that could not have been possible without the help of many.

Jared Kilcrease and Jon-Patric Veal recently walked across the stage at the Class of 2017 graduation, but it will not be long before they are walking onto the field as both young men join the list of college student athletes.

Jared Kilcrease will be heading to Baton Rouge Community College and joining the Baseball team led by Head Coach L.J. Dupuy. Jared has played baseball his entire life, playing 3rd base for the Parkview Baptist Eagles.

Jon-Patric Veal is heading to Hendricks College in Arkansas and will be joining the Football team. Veal will be playing college football after playing only one season in high school. The first time he ever picked up a football was his senior year when he helped the Eagles head to the Superdome for the third consecutive year. Veal was also a member of the Parkview Baptist Baseball team throughout High School earning Baseball Academic All-State status.

Kilcrease and Veal join 11 other student athletes from the Class of 2017 making a total of 13 athletes taking their talents to the next level.
