The Elementary TeMS (Technology, Math, & Science) Lab was created in the summer of 2005, originally funded by the Education Excellence Fund grant from the LA State Department of Education. The purpose of the lab is to enhance the regular classroom learning environment to increase student performance in the areas of math and science. Classroom teachers design high-quality science experiments integrating hands-on materials and technology. K-4 teachers schedule lab visits in advance on an as-needed basis. The lab is stocked with plenty of investigation tools, including digital microscopes and PASCO probes. All elementary students thoroughly enjoy the TeMS lab experience!
