College Board recognizes 21 PBS Students as 2016 AP Scholars
Twenty-one students from Parkview Baptist School have been nationally recognized as 2016 Advanced Placement Scholars by the College Board based on their achievement on AP exams taken at the end of the 15-16 school year.
Eight current seniors from the Class of 2017 were named scholars. AP Scholar includes Jaden Clark. AP Scholars with Honor include Neely Burns, Katy Caughman, Amber Desselle, Hannah Dickie, Drake Melancon, Jordan Palumbo and Kameron Tate.
Thirteen alumni from the Class of 2016 were also recognized for their Advanced Placement achievements. AP Scholars include Cole Bourgeois (LSU), Emily Dunaway (Mississippi College), Kennedy Goins (LSU), Lance Holmes (University of Alabama), Kaylyn Kegans (Northwestern State University), Andrew Lemoine (LSU), Hannah Milton (University of Louisiana – Monroe), Katherine Roberts (LSU). AP Scholars with Honor include Chris Bradley (LSU), Kayleigh Darbonne (Baylor University), Pierre Fournet (LSU), AP Scholars with Distinction include John Costanza (Ohio State University) and Cameron Forbes (Baylor University).
John Costanza was also named a National AP Scholar, an honor granted to students who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and score 4 or higher on 8 or more of those exams.
John is the son of Johnny and Kim Costanza of Prairieville.
