Ms. McCorkle comes to PBS from Virginia; although she is a Baton Rouge native. She received her Bachelors in Elementary Education from LSU.
What made you want to come to PBS? My sister and several friends went to PBS. I went to tons of church and school activities and loved it! I want my children and I to be apart of such an amazing School!!
You get to take three things to a desert island. What are they? My guitar, a volleyball named Wilson and a box of chocolate
What is a super-fun fact about you? I once sang in a wedding with Bebo Norman and I can make a meal out of anything in your kitchen.
Tell us about your family. I have 4 beautiful children: Gracie, Emma, Audrey, and Sammy
Why is Christian education so important? As parents and teachers we are preparing our children for the future of College but more importantly for the future of living for Christ. I believe that the latter is way more important than the first! Teaching children how to love God is vital to making it in the “real world”! Knowing that my children are being taught truth is priceless!
What is your favorite verse? Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
